MEET THE STAFF!





Pam Raisher

Owner/Dance Instructor

Pam has trained thousands of northland dancers and gymnasts over her 37 years in business. She enjoys her role as owner and business woman but she is a dancer at heart. Over the years she has trained with such dance legends as Lugi, Gus Giordano, Charles Kelly, Frank Hachett and most recently Wade Robson.

She has also been a local actress and model for over 25 years. She has performed in radio and television commercials for such companies as McDonalds, Hallmark Cards, Wal-Mart and Sprint just to name a few. Pam has two sons, Colden and Jordan that she is extremely proud of and she loves Mexican food and the beach!

Niesha Tardie

Dance Instructor

Niesha has been with CAA since she was only 3 years old! She danced for 15 years before deciding to share her talents with other aspiring dancers. She has studied dance with Wade Robson and Mandy Moore. Niesha graduated in 2004 from Winnetonka in the top 10% of her class, where she was on the pom squad for 3 years. She was Captain of the UMKC Dance team for 2 years. She was the 2011 KC Command Dance Team Captain and was selected to perform at Arena Bowl 2011, in Phoenix AZ.

Niesha graduated from UMKC with a Bachelors degree in business administration. She is currently a Disability Claims Analyst for Assurant Employee Benefits. In her free time she enjoys shopping, going to concerts, and working out.

Emanuel "EJ" Jaminez

Gymnastics Coach

Emanuel, or Mr. EJ (as his students call him), has been a motivating force at Creative Arts Academy since he joined our staff in 2010. Mr. EJ not only challenges his students to grow and improve weekly but he enjoys a good challenge himself. His hobbies include Parkour, wrestling, mixed martial arts and weight lifting. Emanuel strives to be the best he can be and instills that in his students as well.

Emanuel grew up in the Kansas City area and considers himself a professional NERD outside of the gym. He enjoys the diversity of his role at Creative Arts Academy. EJ coaches tumbling, recreational gymnastics, pre-competitive gymnastics and works with our competitive team as well. He is married to his lovely bride Liz and they hope to raise a large family together in the future.




Ryan Fearing

Gymnastics Instructor

Ryan started his gymnastics career at CAA as a gymnast many moons ago. He has been with CAA ever since! He has been coaching since 1993. Ryan has coached a little bit of everything but currently coaches levels 1and 2. Ryan is a USA Gymnastics Pro Member and is safety and CPR certified.

Ryan has a bachelor’s degree from UMKC in Psychology and a bachelor’s degree from Park University in Early Childhood Education. He also holds a Masters Degree in Teaching from University of Saint Mary. In addition to coaching Mr. Ryan also teaches Kindergarten in the North Kansas City School District.

Megan Corbett

Gymnastics Coach

Megan began her gymnastics career at Creative Arts Academy when she was only 5 years old. She competed with CAA for over 8 years. Now Megan is an accomplished coach herself. She instructs recreational gymnasts as well as our competitive team. Her enthusiasm for gymnastics and endless energy are a winning combination for her students and Creative Arts Academy.

Megan grew up in North Kansas City is currently attending college locally. Her hobbies include photography, drawing and tumbling through the air upside down! She loves everything about her job at Creative Arts Academy but especially enjoys being a role model to her students. She loves being around animals too, particularly her American Pitbull Terrier Jordy.

Karen Burec

Gymnastics Instructor

Karen teaches levels 4 and 5, including tumbling and our tumble team. She was a competitive gymnast for 5 years. Karen also danced for her high school and college dance teams, and was a member of the Kansas City Comets Galaxy girl dance team for 5 years.

Karen is currently a Marketing Manager for John Knox Village and has been in marketing for over 10 years. Karen loves to travel. She just recently returned from Africa where she climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. She loves the outdoors and would love to reach all 7 summits (the highest peaks on each continent) with her son, 3 year old husky chow mix, Spencer! He even has his own backpack!




Lindsay Ramirez

Dance Instructor

Lindsay teaches Ballet and Lyrical classes at CAA. She has danced since she was 3. She has competed all over the country from the ages of 8-18. She has danced Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theater and Modern.

Lindsay was born and raised in Kansas City and has one sister. Lindsay says, "I love the students and their families. And the staff is my favorite! They are all amazing!" In her free time she likes to do anything as long as she has her dog Chuck.

Danielle Mebane

Dance Instructor

Danielle is a life long resident of the Northland. She started dance at Creative Arts when she was 12. She was a member of our Elite Dance Team throughout high school! Danielle is married and has a step daughter. Outside of CAA, she is a manager at Target. In her spare time she likes doing crafts and painting. Danielle says the best thing about working a CAA is the kids. "I love seeing the joy come through them when they are in class!"

Lilly Winkeljohn

Preschool Teacher

Lilly teaches 3 & 4 year olds, and pre-k here at CAA. She grew up in Missouri and attended MU! After graduating lived in Michigan for 19 years. She is well respected in the field of Early Childhood Education. She has presented at conferences for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and was a delegate for the World Forum for Young Children in 2003.

In her free time she loves watching her daughter Kelsey, playing sports, gardening, and reading! Her favorite food is burritos and she just loves Hallowen and Christmas. Her favorite thing about CAA is the children, their parents, and her coworkers!




Rachel Folsom

Preshool Teacher

Rachel has been a part of Creative Arts Academy since 1994. She fell in love with dance after taking a tap and ballet class and started competing and studying tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. She was an assistant teacher for the academy throughout high school, as well as the co-captain of her high school dance team. Rachel not only teaches beginner preschool dance classes, but has also been a Pre-K instructor in our preschool since 2007. Her love for children and energetic personality make Rachel a huge asset for Creative Arts Academy.

Rachel was born and raised in Kansas City, MO and now resides in Gladstone with her husband and daughter, Ashlyn. She has also been a hair stylist for 10 years and likes to spend time with her family outside of work and her time at CAA. Her favorite thing about working at Creative Arts Academy is our team work and support we have for each other.

Diane Bruce

Office Staff

Diane has been working in the CAA office since 2006. She enjoys the opportunity to work with all the students and their parents. She enjoys working with the terrific staff too. She and her husband, Carl, have two children and three grandchildren. Diane grew up in New Jersey and moved to Missouri in 1984. She now resides in Liberty. In her free time she loves to travel, read, and spend time with her grandchildren!

Cathy Vittoria

Office Staff

Cathy is one of our office staff. She was born in Sicily, Italy and moved to the US in 1969. She has been married to her husband Louie for 31 years. Her daughter began dancing at Creative Arts 15 years ago and is still here! She also has two sons, Michael and Matthew. She loves Italian food (imagine that!) She loves spending time with family, traveling and going to the lake. Cathy's favorite thing about working at CAA is getting to know the families and watching the children grow!
